Targus launches ACP51US USB docking station

By: (more) | Connectivity & Communications News | Posted: Dec 9, 2009 5:57 pm

If you work exclusively from a notebook computer and you often take the machine with you on the road or to and from the office, you probably don't look forward to plugging and unplugging all the cables that connect your peripherals. Targus has announced a new docking station that has video called the ACP51US.

The docking station has four USB ports for connecting your gear and two of the ports are powered for charging devices like mobile phones or cameras. The dock also has DisplayLink technology that allows the connection of an external monitor to the dock.

The display solution supports resolutions of up to 2048 x 1152 and works with Windows 7, XP, and Vista. Other features include an Ethernet port and a pair of ports for mic and headphones. The dock is available now for $159.99.
