Intel roadmap leaks showing desktop Core i3, i5, and i7 parts

By: (more) | CPU, APU & Chipsets News | Posted: Nov 30, 2009 4:08 pm

We love it when a roadmap for future processor is leaked early so we can get an idea of what to look forward to in the coming months. Today a supposed roadman for Intel Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 parts has been leaked.

The roadmap shows low-power versions of the Core i5-750 and i7-860 processors will be offered with respective clock speeds of 2.4GHz and 2.53GHz. Each of the parts should need no more than 82W at full tilt.

A new dual core i5 processor is said to be coming with a 3.2GHz clock speed at minimum and going up to 3.46GHz. The Core i3 parts will start at 2.93GHz for the i3-530 and 3.06GHz for the i3-540 parts. The Gulftown Core i9 parts are expected in the spring.
