Buffalo intros new family of USB 3.0 ready external HDDs
Amongst only a few other mobs in the storage market, Buffalo have jumped on the USB 3.0 bandwagon nice and early with a nice USB 3.0 external hard disk they've just finished working on.
Buffalo calls it the HD-HXU3 and says it's capable of sustaining transfer rates of 625MB/sec (using USB 3.0 connectivity of course). As the majority of motherboards are yet to incorporate USB 3.0 as a part of their feature-set, Buffalo has also come to the rescue here with the IFC-PCIE2U3, a USB 3.0 PCI Express card to pair up with the HD-HXU3 series of external drives.

Capacity wise, you have options of a 1TB model, priced at $200, a 1.5TB model at $250 and a 2TB model for $400.
