OCZ to showcase a USB 3.0 External SSD at CES 2010

By: (more) | Connectivity & Communications News | Posted: Nov 23, 2009 5:23 am

Details have come about that OCZ is preparing an external portable SSD solution with over 4Gb/s of bandwidth to play with.

This is accomplished thanks to the use of USB 3.0 connectivity, with its source of power being to the same port, meaning only one cable should be needed to see some incredible transfer rates on tap to your USB 3.0 equipped PC.

A prototype will be on display at OCZ's booth come CES 2010 at the beginning of next year.
