Windows 7 sales scream ahead of Vista launch

Already it is clear that Windows 7 is leaps and bounds ahead of Vista, not just by design, but by market success, too.

 

 

Not only has the fresh OS from Microsoft recently outsold the UK's own Harry Potter, but we now learn via the NPD groups' weekly tracking service that W7 software unit sales in the U.S. alone have increased by a whopping 234% over that of Vista's first days of sales.
