The Kindle 2 e-book reader drops in price again

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Oct 7, 2009 2:43 pm

Amazon's Kindle 2 e-book reader has just taken another price drop, now down to $259. Further to that, there's now a version available internationally for $279 which is said to commence shipping as of the 19th of this month.

The international version will work in "over 100 countries and territories", but Amazon doesn't specify if there are any additional charges for using it in a place other than the one where you bought it. It also looks like AT&T is the one that will be providing overseas roaming coverage for the GSM version.
