Working PhysX Patch for shared AMD and NVIDIA GFX configurations

By: (more) | Software News | Posted: Oct 5, 2009 10:31 am

Whilst NVIDIA has made a conscious effort to block users of AMD based graphics cards from adding an NVIDIA card to their system for the purposes of PhysX processing under Windows 7 in conjunction with the latest drivers, a hack/patch has already become available which gets around this minor hurdle.

The NGO HQ forum is offering up the unofficial patch in both x86 and x64 flavours, this for use with NVIDIA's latest 191.03 driver. Whilst there's a couple of small tricks you need to be aware of in order to get it working correctly, it's been confirmed by several people in the forum thread that it does work.
