Microsoft is getting its day in the sun. With the launch of the ZuneHD and the newly updated Zune 4.0 software, many of the normally Apple centric press sites are talking about the ZuneHD.

Why is this happening? Well for once Microsoft did a few things right. The first is they actually thought about the hardware they wanted to put into the device, instead of just building a look-a-like product. Yes that is right; Microsoft is on a roll with their new products. Of course their marketing is still terrible but that is another story. Still it is interesting to see, for once, people talking about features of an MS product that Apple should take note of.

One of the more prominent ones is the Quickplay menu and button. Quickplay allows you to very quickly access your favorite music, video, and applications. You can easily pin these up by taping and holding. You also can view a history of the last few items you have added to your Zune.
