Pioneer launches Small, Slim DVD-RW

Small but fully functional

This one is just plain cool and deserves some attention. While plumbing for something interesting to write about I stumbled across this new device from Pioneer.

It is a new mini DVD/CD-Burner. But this is not your usual 3.5-inch clunker that you drop into your favorite case. No this is just about the smallest external DVD drive I have ever seen.

it is a little thicker than a normal DVD-ROM Jewel case and still has all the functions of a DVD Writer, and reader it can even write to Dual Layer discs with speeds of up to 6x.

These little marvels will be ready for stores in August and should only set you back about $80.

I think I might look into getting one for myself.
