Futuremark Celebrates the Moon Landing

By looking 40 years into the future

| Software News | Posted: Jul 20, 2009 7:58 pm

Today, on the 40th Anniversary of the landing of two men on the moon, Furturemark Games has released two new screen shots of their upcoming game Shattered Horizons.

The screen shots show how the Moon looks in the game in the year 2049. In the game the Moon has suffered a cataclysmic explosion that hurled debris into near Earth orbit.

Most of the game play will take place in this debris field. Players fight as either survivors of Moon or inhabitants of the International Space Station. The battle field is in zero gravity forcing players to think, fight and survive in three demensions.
