FireFox 3.5.1 fixes JIT Flaw

Good news for FireFox users, Mozilla released a patch for the JIT compiler exploit that was recently found.

 

This ugly hole in FireFox's security would have allowed for Javascript based "drive-by" attacks and was embarrassing to say the least for the IE alternative.

 

If you have FireFox installed then all you should need to do is click on help then check for updates. Once the patch is in place you should be safe from those types of attacks.

 

On the other side you could just stop looking at all the porn, but hey where is the fun in that…
