PocketSurfer 3 announced and available
Ok I admit it I am a gadget persons and this one is just plain cool. It is called the PocketSurfer3 (not to be confused with PocketSuffer or PocketPool…) and it is a small portable GPRS internet device. It has a keyboard that reminds me of the old Razor phones and looks like it fit in your pocket.
I know you are probably thinking, "why would I need one I have a (insert your favorite phone here) and it does all that" and you would be right. Well almost right, you see with most smart phones there is a small issue of no flash, limited Java support etc etc etc.
There is also the nice little fact that the purchase price includes a data plan at roughly 30 hours per month. That is pretty good if you ask me.
The PocketSurfer does not need to rely on WiFi or a hot spot, if you can get cellular service you can surf. They also include a GPS (location based) feature and claim that the PocketSurfer can load the average Webpage in under 7 seconds.
Price should be about $199 and that includes the data plan.
