iPhone 3G S suffering from overheating

By: (more) | Mobile Devices, Tablets & Phones News | Posted: Jul 1, 2009 7:26 pm

Bad news for some owners of the new iPhone 3G S, it seems that some of the new phones are suffering from overheating.

The exact cause of the heat problem is not known although it is suspected that a bad battery could be the problem. Batteries have been the bane of many a mobile device in the last few years and everyone from Dell to Apple have had their share of problems.

In fact Apple has just made a statement that it will be using a new type of battery in the Mac Book Pro. This change will become more and more important now that Apple has decided to take away the end users ability to replace their own batteries.

Unfortunately the iPhone still suffers from this and if this issue becomes more wide spread we could see a recall on the new 3G S that might tarnish the Apple's image as much as the heat is tarnishing the backs of the White iPhone 3G Ss.
