With time ticking down towards the RTM and retail release of Windows 7, Microsoft is adding some finishing touches to the OS before they put the seal of approval on the final version.
The latest build, 7232, had done away with everyone's favorite Betta fish that adorned the desktop background through all the beta and RC versions up to this point. In place of it is what could potentially be the default background for the retail version of Windows 7.
The last few builds for Windows 7 have seen fewer and fewer changes as time goes by. Those in application development know that when tiny aesthetic changes like this are made that the project is nearing completion and it would seem that Microsoft is edging closer and closer towards the RTM which may not be too far away.
