A new board from Tyan has been spotted and this time it also features an unseen chipset from ATI as well.
The new S8005 motherboard appears to be a server board, however it could most definitely be used as a workstation board as well. While it is said that the motherboard is supposed to only have a single PCIe slot, there are clearly two of them on the board hinting at multi-GPU possibilities.
There is also a pair of PCI slots on the board, 4 SAS, and 6 SATA connections on the motherboard, even though nothing was listed about the SATA ports officially. Topping off the boards features are dual Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire, Realtek audio, and Aspeed video which provides remote management and integrated IP KVM functionality.
