Super Talent Releases New MasterDrive SSDs

While most SSD companies have left IDE users in the dust, Super Talent is still catering to those searching for IDE SSDs.

 

Super Talent Releases New MasterDrive SSDs

 


The new EX2 and IX2 MLC and SLC drives come in a 2.5" package and have an IDE interface. The MasterDrive EX2 can reach read and w rite speeds of 80MB/s and 40MB/s respecively, while the IX2 will get up to 80MB/s and 60MB/s.

 

"Many embedded and ruggedized portable PC customers still need IDE drives, and the MasterDrive EX2 and IX2 series give them the performance they deserve in a rugged and reliable device." said Jeremy Werner, Sr. Product Marketing Manager Super Talent. The EX2 series of drives are available in sizes ranging from 16GB to 128GB, while the SLC based IX2 drives are only available in sizes from 16GB to 64GB.
