MSI shows off the Twin Frozr GPU cooling system

By: (more) | Posted: May 15, 2009 2:47 pm

MSI is showing off its latest in cooling technology. Jumping on the Dual Fan bandwagon MSI now has their own for the tepid GTX 2xx series.

The new cooler is called the Twin Frozr and features some interesting technology. First off MSI has gotten away from the standard fan and is likening theirs to a turbine. Under the two turbine fans sits five heat pipes to channel heat away from your GPU. According to MSI you get 50% more thermal efficiency, but time and real world testing will tell

The Twin Frozr will be available on the N285GTX SuperPipe 2G (OC), N285GTX SuperPipe (OC), N275GTX Twin Frozr (OC), N260GTX-T2D896(OC) and N260GTX Lightning.
