Six New ION Based systems emerge

By: (more) | Posted: May 14, 2009 4:09 pm

Although not as big of a splash as we have been lead to believe by nVidia the ION is still gaining a small foot hold as six new ION based systems have sprung up.

ION based has news of three nettops and three netbooks from a group of fairly unknown companies (I have never heard of them). The three are SupoX, Fun Twist and Weibu. The images are interesting, the three netbooks show branding but the last of the nettops does not. They also threw in Zotac's new Mini-ITX offering.

They do make a very inaccurate statement though "the first portable HD capable home theater PC" referring to the netbooks, I own an Asus G2S-X1 with HDMI out and it does HD out at 1080p sorry guys. Just because ION has it now does not mean it hasn't been there already.

Take a look here

All of the netbooks pictured here have HDMI output which basically means the first portable HD capable home theater PC. There are so many things here that I am just going to stop talking so you can take a look at these wonderful pieces of hardware
