Arctic Cooling Intros World's 1st Core i5 Coolers

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: May 7, 2009 5:13 am

Arctic Cooling has launched the world's first coolers that support the LGA 1156 socket and Intel's upcomming Core i5 processors.

The new Apline 11 series of coolers features three different models. Both the Alpine 11 and Alpine 11 Pro feature 92mm PWM fans, keeping the noise down to .4 Sone or below, even at full speed.

The Alpine 11 Pro takes things a little bit further with the vibration absorbing fan holder and has a maximum cooling capacity of 95 Watts, thanks to its larger heatsink design. All three of the Apline 11 coolers are compatible with both LGA 775 and LGA 1156 sockets.
