Linux Users Finally Reach 1% Of All PC's

Microsft lost its share of the market as always, slipping down to 87.9% of all users. Many will blame Windows Vista to the drop of almost 3%, while others will quickly point out the success of Apple's "I'm a Mac" commercials.

Microsoft is certainly hoping that Windows 7 will at least slow the decline. One thing is for certain though, users are becomming aware that there are most certainly viable alternatives to Windows's based PC's.
