Corsair Readies 750W HX Series PSU

Fills the gap between 620W and 1kW

Corsair sent the guys at Fudzilla a picture of their upcomming addition to their HX series of power supplies.

Corsair Readies 750W HX Series PSU

The new PSU will be a 750W model, filling the large gap between the 620W and 1000W models already available. On top of the seven year warranty and 80Plus certification that the power supply will bring, it will also have flat modular cables.

Corsair says that they will be introducing another power supply at the same time for the HX series, however they didn't specify how powerful it would be. The 750W HX series PSU should be available sometime by the end of the month.

The new models will have flat modular cables, at least 80Plus Bronze certification and seven years of warranty. We mentioned that the other model should be even more powerful and we guess that it will end up somewhere between the 750W and 1kW units. As you can see from the picture below, it will have at least one PCI-Express connector (if not more), while the main 24-pin is not modular, but of course sleeved.
