MSI launches 14-Inch X-Slim X400

Fits between the X340 and X600

| Video Cards News | Posted: May 4, 2009 2:48 pm

MSI launched a new "in-between" size in its X-Slim series of notebooks. This one is a 14-inch screen and will go by the name of X400.

The new size is an odd choice as the X340 is a 13.4-inch screen while the X600 boasts a 16-Inch screen. MSI must have a reason for this though. The rest of the specs seem to follow the rest of the X-Slim line with a CULV Processor, 2GB of RAM and most likely a 320GB HDD.

No word on pricing or availability yet.

From one MSI ultraportable to another, and the company surprised with the announcement of a hitherto-unseen X-Slim notebooks at an Asia-Pacific launch recently. The MSI X-Slim X400 is a 14-inch variant of the X-Slim range, with the same slender chassis as the X340 and X600 but a screen size in-between those models.
