ATI may not have enought cards to supply a worldwide launch for the upcomming Radeon HD 4770 card, at least according to Fudzilla
ATI simply is a little short on them and if they decide to launch on the rumored date of April 28, this could make them a little short to find for at lease the few weeks. At least it wouldn't be a complete paper launch. After the first few weeks ATI should be able to ramp up production of the 40nm part and keep up with demand.
Rumor has it that the 4770 will pump out performance numbers close to that of NVIDIA's 9800GT 512MB and that it could even beat out the GTS 250 here and there. Best of all is that the card should be a $99 card and a hot seller for ATI.
