Intel Puts Five Xeons On The Chopping Block

Following last week's introduction of Nehalem based Xeon processors, Intel has sent out a product change notification concerning oldler Xeons.

 

Intel Puts Five Xeons On The Chopping Block

 

The five models affected by the change are the Xeon X3350, X3320, 3085, 3075, and 3065. Intel says that it will continue taking orders until October 9th of this year for the chips and expects to finish shipments in January 2010.
