ATI Catalyst 9.3 Drivers Available

Finally integrates HDMI audio as part of package

| Posted: Mar 19, 2009 6:47 am

As expected, ATI released the Catalyst 9.3 drivers today.

Besides the integration of Windows 7 drivers that we reported yesterday, there are a few other changes worth noting.

The HDMI audio driver is now part of the Catalyst 9.3 driver package and no longer needs to be downloaded seperately. Performance increases for 9.3 are for Folding@Home, Lost Plane: Colonies, and the Unigine Tropics Demo.

Also new is the AMD Display Library (ADL) SDK. The SDK is designed to access display driver functionality for both Radeon and FirePro cards. Linux drivers will be available soon.

Grab the new drivers if you need them.
