Microsoft Announces Notebook Cooler

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Mar 11, 2009 6:35 am

With notebooks now outselling desktops three to one, Microsoft is pushing new notebook accessories in hopes that they aren't missing out on any revenue.

The Notebook Cooling Base from Microsoft is designed to make notebook use more comfortable with a built-in fan and sleek form. This one will set you back US$29.95. It will be USB powered, 1.16" thick, has a cable management clip to store the cable when not in use, and will be available in black and white.

The Microsoft Arc mouse has had huge success, and after only two months on the market has reached the top-10 list of best selling mice. As a result, Microsoft is going to begin offering the Arc mouse in four special edition colors: deep olive green, marine blue, eggplant purple and frost white. Microsoft thinks this is a "great way for people to display their unique style"... just as unique as the person next to you with one.
