NVIDIA Cuts GTX260 Price, ATI Gives One Too

After last week's price cuts on ATI video cards and the launch of the Radeon HD 4890 less than a month away, NVIDIA announced that it is dropping the price on the GTX260 down to $199.

 

NVIDIA Cuts GTX260 Price, ATI Responds With One Too

 

ATI didn't take too kindly to this and said that it was going to drop the cost of the Radeon HD 4870 down another $20 to bring the price to $179. However, unlike last week, there is no word from ATI as to when this price cut will take effect.
