Albatron prepares PCI-e 1x 9500 GT

By: (more) | Posted: Mar 10, 2009 4:47 pm

Albatron has a nice little bit of hardware coming out for the HTPC and SFF lovers out there.

This is new bit of kit comes in the form of a PCI-e 1x 9500 GT video card. The card when used can fit into standard cases or even half-height enclosures.

It will sport a 550MHz core clock, 256MB of 1400MHz memory (type unknown), HDMI support (with a dongle), nVidia Purevideo HD, PhysX (to bump up the 3DMark Scores) and Cuda.

This is a nice card to add to any PCI-e slot limited system (no x16 slots). Although if you have an x16 slots handy there are much better cards out.

Take a look here.

Albatron has a neat little PCI Express x1 graphics card based on GeForce 9500 GT GPU clocked at 550MHz core, 1375MHz shader and 1400MHz memory. Previously, we saw several graphics card makers coming out with PCIe x1 solution and it proves pretty popular among some users who lack a x16 slot most often in a SFF or HTPC environment. So far, we have seen Galaxy coming out with 7300 GT, Sparkle with 8400 GS and PNY with Quadro NVS 420.
