Samsung Shows Off 24 SSD's In RAID 0

By: (more) | Storage News | Posted: Mar 10, 2009 4:20 am

Samsung is showing off a video where they crammed 24 256GB MLC SSD's into a RAID 0 array. The rig used two 1000W PSU's, three different controllers (including onboard SATA), and an Intel Skulltrail D5400XS motherboard.

The final results were quite impressive as they were able to break 2000MB/s write speeds and hit write speeds of 2121MB/s. Even with the three controllers, they were all saturated using around 21 drives.
