Catalyst 9.4 Drivers Leave Many GPU's Behind

According to the folks over at TC Magazine, ATI will stop supporting pre-Radeon HD 2000 cards when Catalyst 9.4 drivers are released. ATI claims that they need to be focusing more newer model cards.

 

Catalyst 9.4 Drivers Leaves Many GPU's Behind

 

Desktop cards affected will include Radeon 9500, 9600, 9800, X800, X1800, and X1900 series cards. The FireGL X1/X2/X3, V3000, V5000, V7000 and FireMV 2200, 2250 professional cards will be getting the axe on the driver list as well.
