GOOC qualifying event hosted by The Overclocker

By: (more) | Tweaking & Overclocking News | Posted: Feb 5, 2009 3:35 am

Following the sucess of last years GIGABYTE Open Overclocking Championship (GOOC) event, it seems GIGABYTE are looking forward to getting another underway this year.

GOOC qualifying event hosted by The Overclocker

A qualifying event in Sydney, Australia will be hosted by the guys from The Overclocker magazine with other local websites including yours truly, Overclockers Australia and Whirlpool also doing their part to lift the overclocking profile in Australia. Here's the scoop :-

The GIGABYTE Open Overclocking Championship is being held in Sydney and The Overclocker is hosting it. It is a great opportunity for all tech enthusiasts to meet up and food and Beer will be provided for FREE!

There will be air cooling and extreme cooling overclocking competitions plus a LAN gaming competition too. There are prizes galore for everyone! Anyone can turn up, but please tell us you're coming here: event@theoverclocker.com

Yep, you heard it; free food and BEER!

While details are scarce at the moment, you can stay updated with preparations for the event at The Overclocker's Twitter page and although there's nothing of interested mentioned there yet, it's probably worth keeping an eye on on it to see when more info comes to light.
