Bjorn3D's Fold For Stephanie Contest

By: (more) | Posted: Feb 2, 2009 5:08 am

If you want to give your conscience a big positive boost, Scott over at Bjorn3D has set up a contest which allows you to do just that.

In dedication to his 13 year old daughter Stephanie who is sadly battling Hodgkins Stage 4B cancer, the contest simply requires all participants fold for the Bjorn3D Team (41608) using the name extension "-Stephanie", which as a combined effort goes a long way toward finding a cure for this horrific disease.

Although the main incentive for being involved in this is to help give Stephanie the best possible fighting chance, another comes in the form of some very nice prizes which currently includes a GTX 285 graphics card kindly donated by NVIDIA (and signed by Jen-Hsun Huang Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer) as well as a second GTX 285 from XFX and also a Crucial Ballistix PC3-10600 2x1GB memory kit (kindly donated by Niko over at rbmods). More prizes will be up for grabs as time goes on to help keep the folding momentum going and the prize winners will be randomly drawn by Scott.

For further information on how to get involved in the Folding for Stephanie Contest, read this thread over at Bjorn3D's forums.
