More info on eVGA's X58 SLI Classified emerges

Last week we pointed you to a special X58 motherboard in the works from eVGA which VR-Zone were lucky enough to get a good look at.

More info on eVGA's X58 SLI Classified emerges

eVGA are cramming an immense array of features onto this model (currently referred to as the Classified, until such time as confirmation of the official naming surfaces). But it won't be a justifiable purchase for most; Tech Connect has just learned that eVGA are putting a premium price tag on this model which raises even higher than the likes of ASUS' Rampage II Extreme and MSI's X58 Eclipse+ etc. - somewhere around the $600USD mark.

It's also been discovered that the board's design was inspired by none other than the famous overclocker, Shamino who's one of the best in the biz and certainly knows what makes for a good solid overclocking board.

If you're still dead set on one of these puppies, a release date is slated for sometime around the end of Feb/early March; hopefully enough time to save up a few more pennies for it.
