By: (more) | Posted: Jan 7, 2009 7:30 am

Logitech is really putting on a show for CES this year; we've just seen them release a new lineup of high-end peripherals which should keep most any gamer pleased. One of them has even earnt Logitech an award for the best of innovations in electronic gaming at this year's CES, the G13 advanced gameboard.

But that's not the only piece of kit that's been given the big thumbs up, a new top-end Harmony remote has been unveiled, dubbed the Harmony 1100 and it too has been given a CES 2009 Design and Engineering Award in the Best of Innovations in the Home-Entertainment Accessories category.

This extravagent universal remote has it all; a palm sized unit with 3.5" QVGA (320x240) touchscreen, brushed-aluminum top casing/soft-touch bottom casing, rechargeable battery and a list of software driven features a mile long to control your complete home entertainment setup and much more.

Unfortunately this won't be making its way into that many peoples homes. Why? a $500 price tag. For those of you who have to have the best, you can expect the Harmony 1100 to go on sale next month.
