As the year quickly draws to a close, Intel squeezes in the last of its LGA775 additions to complete the '08 schedule.

Intel rolls out three more LGA775 chips

Three new processors make their way into the lineup; these comprise the 45nm built 2.5GHz Core 2 Quad Q8300 with 1333MHz FSB and 4MB L2 cache, 2.6 GHz dual-core Pentium E5300 with 800MHz FSB and 2MB L2 cache, then finally we have a new budget point Celeron, the E1500 which is 65nm based and runs at 2.2GHz on an 800MHz FSB with just 512KB of L2 cache.

Pricing on the Q8300, E5300 and E1500 is said to come in at $224, $86 and $53 respectively (based on 1000 unit trays).
