Crucial announces Triple Channel kits for Core i7

Another player in the i7 Triple channel DDR3 fray showed their head today. This time it is Lexar Media.

 

Lexar has announced general availability of its Crucial DDR3 1066 and 1333 triple channel kits. These kits will come in the standard 3GB and 6GB flavors but Lexar also announced a whipping 12GB kit that can be yours for the low price of $1150.

"We have a long history of providing guaranteed-compatible, high-quality Crucial memory products for new and emerging platforms," stated Jim Jardine, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Lexar Media. "The new Crucial three channel DDR3 memory kits, in conjunction with Intel's new Core i7 microarchitecture, deliver innovative memory upgrade options desired by users who seek the highest possible performance levels."
