NVIDIA's 55nm push is near
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAAccording to this report from Fudzilla, NVIDIA has halted production of its 65nm (192 SP endowed) GTX 260 GPUs.
This means, it is believed, that from early December, all GTX 260 parts being produced will boast 55nm credentials, plus the merriment of 216 shaders.
As the year draws to an end, NVIDIA is clearly stoking up its fight back against AMD and it will be interesting to see, just where, the GPU playing field will be as we welcome in 2009.
