NVIDIA may be in the midst of another rebranding exercise, if the latest rumours are to be believed.

 

NVIDIA in rebranding mode again

 

According to this report from Fudzilla, Santa Clara, CA based NVIDIA, is reworking the branding for its entry-level GeForce 9 solutions.

 

The NVIDIA G96 powered GeForce 9300, shall be known as the G100, followed by the GeForce 9500, to be known as the GT120. The GT130 moniker, will be graced upon the currently known GeForce 9600.

 

It is believed that whilst the GTX designator will be assigned to high end parts, the GT and G designators will be reserved for mainstream and entry-level SKUs, respectively.
