NVIDIA 55nm GPU follow-up to be new architecture

According to this report from Fudzilla, the company has not expressed whether the successor to its anticipated 55nm refresh, shall be based on a 40nm process, yet 2009 is expected to be the launch timeframe for NVIDIA's next generation competitor.

It is still expected, in the intervening period, that NVIDIA shall enter the 55nm domain shortly with its GT206 GPU and inevitably, stoke up its battle for supremacy against AMD, in the process.
