We've heard about EVGA's move into Intel territory, courtesy of its upcoming X58 Tylersburg solution, yet further information regarding EVGA's plans, comes courtesy of this report from Fudzilla.

EVGA sets sights on Intel X58 marketplace

It is believed that whilst the company's first X58 offering shall offer software SLI support, an additional SKU which is expected to become available at a later date, shall go further by offering full hardware SLI support and SLI + Physics functionality too.

Having had input from the engineering team that was behind the overclocking success of EPOX, together with Peter Tan (a.k.a Shamino), EVGA is clearly upping the ante and it will be interesting to see how the market and competition responds to this new challenge.
