AMD HD 4850 X2 shows it prowess in benchmarks
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAVR-Zone has presented some interesting information and performance benchmarks pertaining, to AMD's eagerly anticipated HD 4850 X2 flavour.
Taking advantage of a Core i7/X58 platform combination, the HD 4850 X2 running at 625 MHz and 1000 MHz for the dual RV770 GPUs and GDDR3 memory, respectively, puts in a good showing for Sunnyvale, CA based AMD.
Further testing with recent gaming titles, such as Crysis Warhead and Far Cry 2, also shows the HD 4850 X2 in its element.
AMD's HD 4850 X2 is expected to launch before the turn of the year and will, undoubtedly, pile more pressure on rival NVIDIA.
