Thermaltake today announced that it will soon begin selling an optional upgrade clip for its range of LCD or liquid cooling systems.

Thermaltake makes Core i7 upgrade clip for coolers

This new clip will bring support of Intel's soon to be released Core i7 Socket 1366 processor to a whole range of coolers, such as the vast Bigwater series.

In 2008, Intel officially announces its new Core i7 CPU with the most advanced micro-architecture. Now, to ensure our users can experience the power of Core i7, Thermaltake presents optional upgrade clip for LGA 1366 to support Thermaltake DIY L.C.S and L.C.S Case. With this clip, current Thermaltake L.C.S users can enjoy the benefit of Intel Core i7 CPU without replacing their existing liquid cooling system.

It is an interesting move by Thermaltake who could have just not done this and left its users in the dark and to their own devices to get by. It goes a long way to showing that Thermaltake care. You can find more exact details here.
