You may have been following rumours surrounding the claims that NVIDIA, intends to give six of its AIBs, preferential treatment.

Further claims surface regarding NVIDIA six rumour

In the last update for this week, Fudzilla reports that it has obtained further information, from its sources, to clarify just what NVIDIA means by 'preferential treatment'.

Apparently, the NVIDIA six will secure more advantageous pricing, GPU allocation and design kits in advance of NVIDIA's other partners. The long and short of it is, that this is expected to make it increasingly hard for other AIBs to compete with the ring-fenced six.

Whilst it is imagined that this will make the other AIBs increasingly competitive to survive on the un-level playing field, it is suggested that the company is taking indirect methods to achieve its initial goal.
