AMD claims victory over GTX280 with HD 4850 X2 SKU

The above slide, courtesy of INPAI.COM.CN, puts into perspective the worthy price to performance ratio that AMD is touting, with its upcoming SKU.

With proposed GPU speeds of 625 MHz and a claimed launch price of $399, the HD 4850 X2 is expected to settle in comfortably within AMD's R7xx line-up, undoubtedly piling more pressure on Santa Clara, CA based NVIDIA.

To stave off the sibling to AMD's HD 4870 X2 behemoth, NVIDIA will have some trump cards of its own.

GT206, anyone?
