NVIDIA to indulge in AIB spring cleaning?

Apparently, NVIDIA is going to show the door to all but six of its AIBs and it is claimed, that an announcement to this effect shall be made soon.
The fortunate six are, supposedly, EVGA, PC Partner (ZOTAC), ASUS, MSI, Palit and XFX. The list is interesting as we would have expected to also see names such as BFG, a popular purveyor of NVIDIA based solutions, within the inner circle.
