Quickly following Apple's notebook event the other day where we saw some freshening up across their Macbook range, a new 24" display is born. This isn't just a minor update to their existing LCDs, however, it's Apples first "LED Cinema Display" which as the name states, uses LED backlighting for instant full-screen brightness and better power efficiency.

Other features of the new 1920x1200 display include a built-in iSight video camera, mic and speakers embedded into the sleek aluminum and glass enclosure as well as an integrated MagSafe charger for powering/charging your notebook with ease, three USB 2.0 ports and mini DisplayPort connectivity.
Unfortunately, if you're wanting this monitor for your desktop PC, you're out of luck. The display is strictly aimed at the new MacBook family of notebooks with mini DisplayPort being its only form of connectivity.

Apple will begin shipping the new 24" LED Cinema Display in November at a price tag of $899. You can read more about it within the official announcement here folks.
