HIS expands HD 4850 portfolio

By: (more) | Posted: Oct 1, 2008 4:21 pm

Interesting naming schemes are abound at HIS. The purveyor of the much loved, AMD powered IceQ SKUs, has a new offering up its sleeve.

HIS expands HD 4850 portfolio

The Radeon HD 4850 Fan, seen above, doesn't come endowed with a factory overclock and, instead, goes down the conservative route with core and memory speeds of 625 MHz and 1998 MHz, respectively.

The new cooling solution itself contributes to dual slot status and whilst the memory modules themselves are not actively cooled, HIS has endowed the fan with blue LEDs, thereby not forgoing form.

Availability is expected soon, yet pricing information isn't available at the time of going to press.
