NVIDIA's SLI 2 initiative on its way?

NVIDIA has its next big brand in the pipeline, according to this story from Fudzilla.
The equation is quite simple it seems. SLI + PhysX = SLI 2.
As is implied, it is believed that users will be able to call upon the power of multiple graphics card solutions, plus an additional one to handle all PhysX related tasks. What will be required, apparently, is a motherboard solution that features three PCI Express slots.
Launch details and expected real-world benefits are unknown, at the time of going to press.
