Sapphire launches TOXIC version of Radeon HD 4870

Sapphire sent word today that it has taken the covers off its Radeon HD 4870 TOXIC Edition graphics card.

It includes a fancy Vapor-X cooler which is Sapphire's implementation of Vapour Chamber Technology (VCT). It promises to offer better and quieter cooling performance than others on the market with its three heatpipe cooling setup.

Being a TOXIC version, it of course comes pre-overclocked. Sapphire has sent the 512MB of GDDR5 memory to operate at 2000MHz DDR and the GPU core is pre-overclocked at 780MHz.
