Tesla has one of the most-hyped vehicles ever unveiled in its new all-electric and all-exciting Cybertruck, something that could be banned for sale in Europe until its modified. Before its release, we're already seeing a bunch of mods and accessories for Tesla's new Cybertruck.

Here are the best mods and attachments for the Tesla Cybertruck

Some of the mods are super impressive and while some of them won't be real or make it to market, it's really interesting to see some of the mods that could be a possibility for the Tesla Cybertruck. The most impressive is the Warthog design from Halo, which would totally modify Tesla's new Cybertruck into the Warthog from the Halo franchise.

Artist Mo Aoun made some Warthog Cybertruck renders that look out of this world, I mean check it out:

JBL's new self-charging headphones have UNLIMITED battery life

Anthony Garreffa | Audio, Sound & Speakers | Dec 16, 2019 8:47 PM CST

JBL has just announced an interesting and tech-fueled pair of wireless headphones in the new Reflect Eternal, a new pair of over-ear headphones that are being crowdfunded, offering "virtually unlimited" listening.

JBL's new self-charging headphones have UNLIMITED battery life

Inside, JBL is tapping Powerfoyle material from Exeger which is capable of sucking in energy from the sun, and indirect and indoor light. This means that if you're under a source of light, you will be receiving charge to your new JBL Reflect Eternal headphones -- while you'll have up to 68 hours of listening time with a fully-charged headset when you're in darkness.

You can also plug the headphones into power with JBL saying 15 minutes of charge time will give you up to two hours of playback time. The headphones feature 40mm drivers with 20Hz to 20kHz frequency, hands-free calling, ambient audio amplification, multi-device pairing, and a voice assistant. They can even get a little wet, with JBL packing in IPX4 rated water resistance.

China #1 in CPUs: Zhaoxin plans CPUs with PCIe 4.0 and DDR5 for 2021

Anthony Garreffa | CPU, APU & Chipsets | Dec 16, 2019 8:16 PM CST

AMD has been on the fresh new 7nm node for a few months now, pumping out a bunch of Zen 2-based EPYC, Ryzen Threadripper, and Ryzen CPUs -- as well as a slew of new Navi-based Radeon 5000 series cards. Intel has struggled, to say the least, to get to 10nm let alone 7nm.

China #1 in CPUs: Zhaoxin plans CPUs with PCIe 4.0 and DDR5 for 2021

But now it seems there will be another competitor in 7nm space with Chinese company Zhaoxin its new KX-7000 processor coming up next, using an unannounced CPU architecture and built on the 7nm node with an integrated GPU. The new Zhaoxin CPU will have a GPU that has DX12 support, and features PCIe 4.0 and DDR5 technology support.

Zhaoxin has its KaiSheng series CPU which rocks up to 32 cores, and is made on the older 16nm node... but the company has plans to offer up to 32C/64T on its new server CPU offerings. This will bring Zhaoxin up to the same level as AMD's current Ryzen Threadripper CPUs, leaving AMD to dominate the server CPU game with its Zen 2-based EPYC range of processors.

Tesla Cybertruck might be illegal to sell in Europe, redesign needed

Anthony Garreffa | Electric Vehicles & Cars | Dec 16, 2019 7:25 PM CST

Tesla's exciting new Cybertruck has been riding quite the huge viral marketing wave, all without a single cent being spent by Telsa Motors and its CEO and mastermind Elon Musk. But... the new Cybertruck might be ahead of its time, especially for the European market. Musk was recently seen driving the streets of LA in a prototype Tesla Cybertruck.

Tesla Cybertruck might be illegal to sell in Europe, redesign needed

According to a new report from a TUV expert, Tesla might not be capable of selling its Cybertruck in Europe -- at least without some major tweaks to its design and components. Tesla would need to integrate side mirror cameras (if they're not optioned onto the Cybertruck), smaller tires, headlight clusters, and the advanced windshield wipers.

Even with these redesign changes and tweaks, Tesla might not be able to sell its Cybertruck in Europe as it would fail safety tests in its current form. Stefan Tellar, an expert at SGS-TUV Saar GmbH of the Automobilwoche says Tesla would need to make big changes to its basic features before it would be considered to pass in European markets.

Microsoft designed the Xbox Series X's SoC specifically with backward compatibility support in mind,

Xbox Series X's custom SoC built with backward compatibility in mind

Microsoft confirms its new next-gen Xbox Series X console will natively support four generations worth of Xbox games when it launches in Holiday 2020. The system will play thousands of games from original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and new titles optimized specifically for the Xbox SX.

As it turns out, the Xbox SX was built from the ground up to support last-gen games all the way at the silicon level. Backward compatibility was never off the table and a major feature at the start (MS nor Sony want to displace games libraries and fracture user experiences). Even with the existing Xbox One BC games this task is a massive undertaking of incredibly tough work, but Microsoft's foresight and planning will make bringing older games to the new Zen 2- and Navi-powered behemoth a lot easier.

EA's next Star Wars game will be 'very unique,' could it have co-op?

Derek Strickland | Gaming | Dec 16, 2019 3:23 PM CST

EA Motive is preparing the next Star Wars game for possible release in 2020, and it should be a departure from the current games on the market.

EA's next Star Wars game will be 'very unique,' could it have co-op?

While helping its sister studios like DICE with Battlefront and Visceral with the now-canned Project Ragtag game, EA's Motive studio has been working on a new Star Wars game for years now. Motive's Montreal studio is helming the new project and exact info has been pretty scarce, but we did get a new tidbit from Motive's general manager Patrick Klaus.

According to Klaus, Motive Montreal is making "a very unique Star Wars experience." But how is it unique? Is it the setting, tone, or story that're unique? Or maybe the gameplay mechanics?

Leaked PlayStation 5 ad prices console at $1,000, is totally fake

Derek Strickland | Gaming | Dec 16, 2019 10:12 AM CST

A new report says the PlayStation 5 will cost $600 when it releases on December 4, 2020, and the higher-end 4TB Pro version will cost $1,000. This is incredibly fake on so many levels.

Leaked PlayStation 5 ad prices console at $1,000, is totally fake

It should be pretty obvious the latest PS5 info from Japanese games site Gamers Gate is 100% false clickbait. Sony even called it a "hoax". But just in case any sites pick it up and try to run with it, let's break down all the ways the info is fake.

The site says it got a hold of an official leaked advertisement for the PS5, with pricing, release date, and design of the system. The "final PS5 design" is simply a weird mock-up render that's accompanied by a Nacon PS4 controller. That's not a DualShock 5. Here's what the DualShock 5 should look like.

Discovery: exoplanets in 'habitable zones' have less chance of life

Jak Connor | Science, Space, Health & Robotics | Dec 16, 2019 1:34 AM CST

Astronomers have been on the hunt for habitable exoplanets since the first one was discovered. But since that discovery, astronomers have been finding out more and more reasons that complicate the possible existence of life on other planets.

Discovery: exoplanets in 'habitable zones' have less chance of life

Many exoplanets fall into what astronomers call the "habitable zone" which is a zone in space relative to their star where planets are able to maintain liquid water on their surface. These planets in the "habitable zone" are deemed the most likely to harbor forms of life. However, a recent study has found that not all exoplanets in this zone are prime candidates.

The study found that some exoplanets are subjected to radiation bursts from their neighboring star, and depending on the exoplanet, these radiation bursts could have significant impacts on the planet's atmosphere and, therefore, the chance of life. The study, which was published in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society: Letters took into account the power of the solar bursts, the exoplanets' magnetic fields, and the atmospheric shielding. For more information on these findings, check out this link here.

YouTuber becomes Santa, gives away thousands of dollars to strangers

Jak Connor | Internet & Websites | Dec 16, 2019 1:13 AM CST

Who doesn't love being randomly given thousands of dollars? A better question would be, who wouldn't love to give thousands of dollars if they had it?

YouTuber becomes Santa, gives away thousands of dollars to strangers

Well, YouTuber David Dobrick decided to do the giving away and became Santa Claus for one day to give random strangers thousands of dollars. At about 2:20 into the video, Dobrick is with fellow YouTuber Erin Gilfoy, and he asks her how she found "the one", she replies that she found "the one" via a dating app Bumble. Dobrick then calls Bumble, and the guy who controls the apps monetary funds picks up the phone.

Dobrick says that he will keep Gilfoy's statement in his video if they give him an undisclosed amount of money. The amount that was offered seemed sufficient to Dobrick as the next shot we see of him is him running out of a bank and falling onto his car with literal bundles of cash. Dobrick then proceeds to give random amounts of money to strangers, donating large tips to a donut lady, buying out all the flowers to a flower shop, and giving away huge amounts of iPads to children.

PewDiePie has decided he will take a break from YouTube in early 2020

Jak Connor | Internet & Websites | Dec 16, 2019 12:35 AM CST

One of YouTube's most subscribed channels, the legendary PewDiePie, recently posted a new video that featured a special announcement.

PewDiePie has decided he will take a break from YouTube in early 2020

PewDiePie or Felix Kjellberg's recently uploaded a video to his channel talking about YouTube's recent changes its making to its harassment policy. In the video, PewDiePie talks about how some of the harassment policy changes aren't well defined, and that the changes are going to hurt some select YouTubers who's channels are purely based on calling out other YouTubers. While these changes that YouTube is making are certainly questionable, PewDiePie also had a special announcement at the end of the video.

PewDiePie says that he is going to be taking a break from YouTube starting early next year, and while he doesn't detail why this break is happening or when specifically, he did say its happening regardless. PewDiePie briefly mentions that "I'm feeling very tired", alluding to what seems to be the changes YouTube has made over the course of his career. While this might be a guess, PewDiePie said that he would be clearing up any confusion with a future video.
